New Year Greetings From Pastor Michel Hardy
|
To our partners in Christ - Here we are again as another year draws to an end, a year in which we have all experienced the grace of God in our lives. The Lord has protected us from danger; He has provided for all our needs, He has used us in many different ways in the countries to which He has sent us to serve Him, and much more... In other words, I can truly say that His grace has abounded in our lives, and we are so grateful to Him for that.
Thank you for having been available to support the CTMI team in serving the people of God, and, in particular, the churches with whom we work. This year has been very encouraging: we have preached the gospel of the cross to more than 1000 pastors in different countries. It is very exciting to know that God's Word does not return to Him before accomplishing its purpose. There is so much to rejoice about for those who have heard the gospel. We have also visited many churches to encourage and instruct them in the gospel. Glory to God!
To our dear brothers and sisters in Christ in all the churches - With each year, we realise that we have grown, or that we should have grown, in the knowledge of Christ. This call will not change until the day our Lord comes back for us. Remember, we can do many things for Him but we must be sure that we are also becoming more and more like Him . Many of you have been at work for Him, visiting the sick and the needy, sharing the Gospel with those who do not know the Lord. Many of you have taken care of the brothers and sisters in the church, or worked in other ways to spread the gospel message. Glory to God!
To the elderly - You can still gather to encourage one another, or go out and tell of your life with Jesus to those who need Him so badly. Your trips away together will carry on being a blessing to you.The race is not yet finished, continue to run it in a way in which to win the prize for which God has called you in Christ Jesus. Glory to God!
To the young people - Time is short and your place is next to your parents and the elders of the church, to serve the Lord together. The world is sliding fast towards its destruction. Come out from the world and be separate, for you are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Praise God!
To each one of you - Thank you for your prayers, for your financial support that has enabled us to continue the race, and for your heart for the Gospel. We have great challenges ahead of us this coming year and we need to persevere in prayer. Firstly, there is the project for our new church building in Mauritius, seating 2,500. Construction must begin in 2006, and all the paperwork must first be prepared for the necessary permits to be obtained. Secondly, there is the accomplishment of the vision the Lord has given us - that servants of God and Christians might taste of the true gospel, the key to revival in the church.
I wish you all for 2006, a year of victories, in your families, your finances, your work, and many other areas of your lives.
May faith grow in our hearts and may the grace of God be with us all as we enter 2006.
